After leaving my friend’s house at around 6:30am, I jumped on the bus to the train station to head home. When I arrived at the train station I had around 45 minutes till my train would arrive. I went into a cafe and ordered the same thing I do everytime I go in there, a ham and cheese toasty! They always toast it perfectly and it tastes amazing every time!

Life is one unpredictable thing. One minute you can be on top of the world and the next you could be sitting on your bed with a head full of thoughts. This is what I was doing the other day, I’ve had a moment like this before, I’ve sat on my bed with thoughts running riot in my head with different questions requiring different answers. I would sit there and say, “It’s just the holiday blues, stop been so silly Matt!” But deep down I knew it wasn’t the holiday blues, for a start I was happy to be home. But what was I thinking about?!

Around one year ago my friend and I decided we wanted to travel to Asia. I remember we were so excited and it was all we’d talk about and then the idea sort of just fell off. We didn’t speak about it for a while, mainly because of the cost. After time went by and after we both had the money, we decided to go ahead and leave a deposit. It was one of the most exciting moments of my life! The fact that I, a 20-year-old guy working the 9-5, would be traveling to Asia, was unbelievable! It didn’t really settle in until a few weeks before we were due to depart. It was one crazy feeling…
